The TaylorMade R9 Iron Set is the e xcellent Irons for the mid to high handicapper. Smooth and easy to swing, a slightly thick top-line, but not near as much as others in this class. Amazing feel, I really like the swing weight. It makes the clubs easy to drop in the slot. If you are looking for a very forgiving and soft feeling iron then these may be the ones. In all previous steel shafted irons I have owned I had to add sensi-core inserts to soften the vibration on my wrist and elbow but these were fine as recieved.
