Leo is 1.5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchiped male black Lab/Pointer mix. He has a very sweet disposition, very affectionate, playful, and great with kids. He displays absolutely no aggressive behaviour at all and loves to play with other dogs. However, we have come to the very difficult conclusion that he may not be the right fit for our lifestyle. Leo has separation anxiety, but we are in the process of working with a professional trainer, and he has shown IMMENSE progress in just a few days. Crate training and other bad manners also being addressed as part of the training. Leo is very eager to please and with a good strong leader, Leo will make an excellent family dog. Please understand this has been a very difficult decision for my family to make, therefore we want to ensure he goes to the right home, a place where he will get the love and attention he deserves.
We will give all his belongings (toys, crate, bed, leashes, collars, harness, etc) at no cost. Leo's training and lifetime membership with Barkbusters will also be transferred (800.00 dollar value) to his new owners who can continue to work with him. Once again our most important goal here is to find him a loving home, with a family that can provide him with the attention he needs and deserves. He really is a wonderful companion with so much love to give.
