The 2015 Scarborough Afro-Carib Fest is a FREE two-day fun filled event for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the richness of the cultural fabric that makes up our wonderful city. Organized by the non-profit organization, Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) and with the support of Canadian Heritage and Ontario Arts Council, the festival offers its guests live musical performances and activities that highlight African and Caribbean culture.
This year’s event promises more exciting activities and entertainment including a show case of elaborate Afro-Caribbean cultural costumes. As always, guests will enjoy a wide variety of vendors and exhibitors with arts, crafts, food, gifts, and more. There will be something for everyone!
The event will take place from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, August 22-23, 2015 inside the Albert Campbell Square at the Scarborough Civic Centre: 150 Borough Drive, Scarborough, ON ( Just beside the Scarborough Town Center Shopping Mall)
