Responsibilities
Produce detailed production drawings for all stands being produced in the workshop and liaise with the general manager.
Preparing specification lists with each design to aid the production manager in costing each project.
Custom stand design for both 3D spatial elements and 2D graphics for both current clients and new clients.
Octanorm stand design for both 3D spatial elements and 2D graphics for both current clients and new clients.
2D and 3D colour visualisation.
Artwork production with Photoshop and Illustrator.
Delivering designs that match the client brief, budget and deadline.
Liaising with the design director and production manager to source the correct material for designs.
Researching new features, products and technology that can be used in future stand designs
Regularly visiting key Canada and foreign shows to keep finger on the design pulse and keep an eye on competitor designs.
Assisting the Sales Director where necessary on new business pitch preparation
Sometimes there may be a need to work on retail installation and office receptions design concepts.
Person / Experience Required:
4 years + experience in designing and detailing exhibition stands across a number of industry sectors.
Experience in designing Octanorm exhibition stands.
Proven track record of creating winning designs.
Forward thinking designer that has their finger on the pulse of stand design utilising the latest products, gadgets, AV and materials available.

AutoCAD 2012 & VectorWorks
Autodesk 3ds Max Design
Photoshop
Illustrator
Microsoft Office 2010 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)
Other Skills (Not essential)

Travel
In periods of high demand this individual may be called upon to travel and help onsite so therefore must have a full and valid passport.
